The official Berserker profile adds two weapon paths to this guide: Axe and Shield for a protective front line, or Warhammer for fire-and-thunder offense. It names skills and describes roles but reports no damage tests or best-build verdict.

01What the studio has actually published

Four classes are named on the official focus group test infographic of 3 July 2026: Mage, Ranger, Warrior and Berserker. That graphic ranks them by popularity in that order, across 165 testers and 2,006 hours of play, in a build that reached level 16.

Warrior and Ranger also have published paths. XLGAMES presents the Warrior’s Longsword and Greatsword as options built around control or force, while the Ranger’s Longbow and Hatchet contrast distance with close-range aggression.

The September 28 Berserker article adds two paths. The Axe + Shield path charges into enemy lines, absorbs attacks and protects nearby allies; named skills pull enemies with a chain, stagger them and reduce damage taken. By contrast, the Warhammer path emphasizes fire-and-thunder offense; its skills build, spend or throw stored power.

The skill list gives concrete effects: Reckless Destroyer raises the Bleed gauge; Shield Slam knocks an enemy back and restores some spent SP on hit; Reel In pulls a distant target with a chain. Brutal Crash staggers foes while reducing damage taken; Ridge Shatter knocks nearby enemies down and reduces damage taken too. For Warhammer, Surging Heat raises the Burn gauge; Meteor Hammer stores power after Tempered Blow. Galactic Impact releases it in one strike, Resonating Strike spends it on a barrage, and Thundering Hurl launches stored thunder at range.

02What a popularity ranking is worth here

It is a first-impression ranking from a short test, not a balance statement. The three most used weapons of that same test — elemental staff, wavesword, longsword — do not line up neatly with the class ranking, which suggests the two graphs measure different things.

Calling Mage the strongest class would go beyond the evidence. The official test graphic ranks it first for popularity, but that is not a measure of combat strength.

03How to choose anyway

Choose Axe and Shield if you want the Berserker’s published front-line role: charging in, absorbing attacks and protecting nearby allies, with skills that pull or stagger enemies. Choose Warhammer if fire-and-thunder offense appeals more; its skills can store meteor power for a heavy single blow or a multi-hit barrage, and hurl stored thunder at a distant target.
