Established through official sources. Each statement keeps the scope of its source.

Two weeks after the reveal, XLGAMES published a developer diary that remains the single most quoted source on this site. Most of what is known about raids, trade and housing comes from it.

What it established

Group content: “content for all playstyles, including party play and twenty-player raids”, with most PvE encounters accessible solo or in a party, plus world events, open-world raid bosses and the returning Crimson Rift mode.

Trade: the familiar mechanisms return — “wagons, carts, and creating trade goods to sell in different regions” — with new variables designed into transport, and trade tied to crafting and character growth.

Source record · October 10, 2024

The game offers content for all playstyles, including party play and twenty-player raids. … players can engage in world events, tackle open-world raid bosses, and experience iconic game modes like the Crimson Rift.

These documentary notes remain in the language in which they were collected; they are not necessarily verbatim quotations.

What it said about PvP

The diary is also the source of the only official statement about organised PvP: revitalised trade runs carrying risk and reward, “an evolved crime system”, and “organized PvP activities, including arenas like the colosseum”. Two years later, the crime system and the arenas are still described in the language of exploration rather than of features.
