ArcheAge Chronicles joins Steam Next Fest with a free demo

The ArcheAge Chronicles demo is scheduled for Steam Next Fest from October 19 at 10:00 a.m. to October 26 at 10:00 a.m. PDT. The official notice says the demo is free and open to all Steam users, with no registration or application required.

To install it during the event, visit the ArcheAge Chronicles Steam page and choose Download Demo. This is the access route given in the notice; it does not set out a separate console download or an Early Access sign-up process for the demo.

What the demo includes

The demo covers selected content centered on Diamond Shores, which the notice describes as one of the game’s early-game regions. It also says PvP will appear for the first time in a publicly released build, giving players a public way to try that part of the game.

This is only a selection of the game. Some life content, including housing and trade, will be unavailable in the demo. The notice warns that the build does not include the full range of game content, so its list should not be treated as a complete feature inventory.

Limits and saved progress

The studio cautions that some features may be limited and that players may encounter bugs or unexpected issues. These are stated limits of the demo build, not a description of every system planned for ArcheAge Chronicles.

Progress and save data from the demo will not carry over to the Early Access version. In practice, the demo is a chance to try the game rather than a way to build a transferable save. The announcement does not give an Early Access date.
