Jin Evernight
Kyrios is the clearest piece of lore XLGAMES has published: a named man who became a god, described in two class profiles that read as two halves of the same story.
The Warrior profile of 10 July 2026 states it: “Before his ascension, Kyrios was known as Jin Evernight, a legendary Shadowhawk Twin Sword who fought alongside Tahyang. As the Righthand Sword of Shadowhawk, he was an unparalleled bladesman, wielding any and all arms with gladiatorial ferocity and matchless precision.”
The same text places his transformation: “When Jin returned from the Garden of the Gods, he was no longer a mere warrior, but Kyrios, the God of Destruction.”
Documented facts
The documented account
He is the inheritance of the Warrior class: “Every Warrior inherits the shadow of Kyrios”, and to walk that path is to inherit his will, his martial prowess and his relentless pursuit of destruction. The studio adds a promise and a threat in the same breath: “Kyrios shall grant victory to those who believe. And to those who stand against him, ceaseless ruin.”
The Ranger profile of 30 July 2026 shows the other side: Tahyang, his closest friend, “led the charge against Kyrios”. The two class profiles are written as opposite ends of the same betrayal.
Whether Kyrios appears in the game as a character, a boss or only as lore has not been stated. What the Garden of the Gods is, and why ascension changed him, have not been explained anywhere we have read at the source.
