What the studio said
The Shadowhawk Syndicate is presented as a company rather than a gang: it explores, it hunts, it trades — and the studio has been careful to say twice that its real motives are not stated.
The first post, on 28 May 2025, reads: “The Shadowhawk Syndicate is a mysterious organization leading exploration, hunting, and trade in Auroria. Known for their tight-knit brotherhood and hidden motives, they’re influential yet enigmatic.”
The second, on 5 June 2025, sets it in a harder context: “The development and conquest of Auroria are entangled with powerful interests, and sometimes power is the only way to move things forward.” The Syndicate is described there as “inheriting the name of a legendary group from the back alleys of Delphinad”.

The documented account
Delphinad is a name from the original ArcheAge, and it appears twice in this game’s lore posts — here, and in the Antiquary Society’s stated goal of rebuilding the Delphinad Library. The studio is reusing the old world’s vocabulary for organisations of the new one, fifty years later.
No leader has been named, no base of operations given, and no relationship to the Bluesalt Brotherhood stated, although both are described as trading powers. Any account of a rivalry between the two is, at this date, someone’s guess.
