Who he was

Tahyang Kahlzit is named in the Ranger profile of 30 July 2026 and again in the Warrior profile of 10 July 2026. Between the two, he is the most developed character in the published lore.

The Ranger profile: “Every Ranger carries the legacy of Tahyang Kahlzit, the legendary hero of the Firran. Restless even by Firran standards, Tahyang rejected a settled life and chose instead to wander the world as a free spirit. Anything placed in his hands became a weapon, and no wilderness could break him.”

The Warrior profile names the friendship from the other side: Jin Evernight “fought alongside Tahyang”, and together “they became known as the Shadowhawk Twin Swords”.

The documented account

The refusal, and the charge

“Though Tahyang gained divine power in the Garden of the Gods, he refused ascension and returned to the world as a mortal.” That refusal is the mirror of Kyrios’ choice, and the studio frames it as the difference between the two classes.

What followed: “Mounted upon Black Night and wielding a bow of light, he led the charge against Kyrios—his closest friend, now transformed into the God of Destruction.” He is called “the last hunter to stand against the God of Destruction until the bitter end”.

What is not known

Whether Tahyang is dead, when this happened relative to the 25-Year War, and whether Black Night is a mount available to players are all unstated. The Firran are named as his people, and appear elsewhere only in passing.
