The premise
Auroria is not one region of ArcheAge Chronicles: it is the setting. Every faction, city and boss named so far is placed there, and the game’s premise is its rediscovery.
The developer diary of 10 October 2024 states it: “The story of ArcheAge Chronicles takes place during the discovery of Auroria, roughly 50 years after the events of the original”, with the studio shifting focus to “the hopes and struggles of Auroria’s settlers”.
The executive producer’s letter of 31 July 2025 describes the same world in motion: “Auroria, once wild and dangerous, is starting to come alive again. People are returning. Settlements are rising from ruins.”
Documented facts
The documented account
The official account presented the continent on 15 January 2025: “Take a glimpse of Auroria, the majestic continent where the adventures of ArcheAge Chronicles unfold. Embark on a new era of exploration and become a vital part of the Age of Pioneers!”
The Steam store description keeps the same framing: “Explore Auroria, a vast and vibrant world brimming with rich lore and thrilling action.” The named places published so far — Seaglass Harbor, Diamond Shores, Serpens’ Domain, the Airship Workshop, Whalesong Shores — all sit on it.
No map has been published, no region count, and no indication of how the continent is divided at launch. Players of the first ArcheAge should note that this Auroria is being described as a place fifty years later, not as the same content revisited.
